Client: InitialCap
Duration: 12 Weeks
Project size: 700m2
Project Overview:
The electrical fit-out of Rustica at Melbourne Airport’s Terminal 1 was designed to support a high-traffic, 24/7 hospitality environment within a modern airport setting. The tenancy, encompassing approximately 700 square metres, was delivered as a cold shell, necessitating comprehensive infrastructure upgrades to accommodate the specific requirements of a hospitality retail space. This included the installation of robust power distribution systems capable of supporting commercial kitchen equipment, espresso machines, refrigeration units, and point-of-sale terminals.
Energy-efficient Ambience LED lighting was implemented throughout the space, lighting automation & motion sensors to minimize energy consumption and enhance operational efficiency.
Overall, the electrical fit-out was integral to creating a functional, sustainable, and visually appealing space that aligns with Rustica’s brand identity and meets the operational demands of a busy airport terminal.
